By providing you with Relationship Coffees, we can ensure consistent beans EVERY time because it comes from the same farm. Our chosen coffee farm supports over 90 families. Much of our coffee is "Shade Grown" which preserves the habitat for numerous animal species. This farm has been producing coffees in Zimbabwe since 1965 using sustainable farming methods. Over the years it has won national and international awards for its quality. STAGE ~ Our stage hosts performances from Poets, Storytellers, and Acoustic Musicians. Watch our calendar for event dates. We are the local gathering place for "Poetry Night" "Open Mic" "Saturday Night at the Otter" - Special Performances CONFERENCE ROOM ~ Here you will find monthly meetings such as The Artist Roundtable - a Gathering of Artists to meet, socialize and network with one another The Writing Circle - a Gathering of Writers to give feedback to one another on current works The conference room is available for private meetings and provides Coffee and Dessert Service to participants. | The Dancing Otter Mission.. The Native American meaning of the Otter is "Happiness and Laughter - in spite of the circumstances". We thought this was something that EVERYONE could use right now. So we created a Gathering Place that would be exciting, happy, and inspiring...A Place that would have bold new art, enchanting entertainment, and outstanding treats from our Coffee Bar. |
On the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month... Artist Roundtable Meeting - a time for artists to gather together and socialize, share marketing and networking information, and find out about new opportunities. 1-3pm AND....at 3pm, Artists are welcome to participate in an Artist Trading Card Swap. We will work on Artist Trading Cards to trade with one another. Peace If you aren't familiar with Peace yet, you will be. Peace is a known Artist in the Grants Pass area and you can find his paintings exclusively here at the Dancing Otter. An Outsider Artist - or better defined as a Brut Artist, you can find a sampling of a few of his different styles of work. Many days you can find Peace in front of the Gallery - painting , or participating in Poetry night.
